But again, it's not a really sufficient application for image processing - it's a tool to be used in an emergency (except for - well, you know by now. For the price, it's impressive, and it's quick and reliable for mundane tasks like surfing and posting, too. The nice thing about the 14' Chromebook is its screen, though - much more surface, quite sharp and actually reasonably accurate in terms of colour rendition. So, for anything important, I wouldn't use Polarr (except for Canon RAWs - they work a treat), but alas, Snapseed doesn't run reliably with most RAW files I throw at it - I'll forgo Panaonic RAWs for now, but if anyone is interested, I can run the test. I now tried Olympus files - Snapseed works, but handling could be better I clearly prefer Polarr even though it doesn't work with the proper RAW data but uses the embedded RAW instead - in the case of Sony, it's a dismal basic JPEG, Olympus files will let you use half the original resolution (8MP), Canon the full resolution only the slowness with which Snapseed handles the files indicates it's actually doing something special - but it actually does use the original RAW.
